In 2024, Exterior Worlds designed and installed a stunning landscape project in the heart of Houston’s Museum District, collaborating with Lush Outdoor Living, Inc. to handle the design and installation of the exquisite swimming pool. This project perfectly captured the balance between modern elegance and the tranquility of nature, creating a seamless integration of outdoor living spaces for a high-end residential property.
The primary focus of the landscape design was to complement the sleek, modern architecture of the home while establishing a sense of serenity through the thoughtful use of greenery, textures, and materials. Lush Outdoor Living, Inc. crafted a luxurious swimming pool as the centerpiece of the landscape, ensuring its form and function harmonized with the overall vision. The pool, with its sleek geometric design and custom water features, became a focal point, framed by minimalist hardscaping that featured subtle yet striking tile work.
Surrounding the pool were lush plantings that provided natural privacy and added texture. Agave plants and strategically placed trees brought an organic element to the sharp lines of the architecture. The client’s love for clean, modern lines was echoed in the use of materials like limestone, which was used for the patio, and corten steel planters that housed a variety of succulents and native plants.
